Capsule endoscopy allows examine three small intestine : duodenum , jejunum and ileum and colon.
During the study, the patient must swallow endoscopic fotokapsulu about 1cm long . The capsule consists of Square Camera and transmitter. The camera takes pictures (up to several tens of thousands in a few hours ) and transmits the image to a recording device . After this procedure, the recorder is connected to the computer model and the image of the intestinal wall .
The study is carried out using disposable capsules, which eliminates the risk of infection.The procedure is outpatient . A high image quality improves the quality of diagnosis.
